My whole gaming collection… from 2000 to 2023

That’s an awesome collection!

Impressive collection… almost distracts from how high your TV is mounted.

You’ve got all these amazing games, but I bet you’re playing some repetitive online shooter lol. Great collection!

Please remove the plastic film from the TV!

Are you getting the PS5 Pro?

Smart choice.

Bro got all these games but nothing to play

Wanna see my ‘collection’? Just a bunch of online store accounts lol.

Last physical game I bought was like 20 years ago. Haven’t even had a CD/DVD drive in years. All my old stuff is probably shoved in a closet somewhere. Physical games don’t even come with cool extras anymore. Back in the day, you’d get huge boxes with art books and guides. Now it’s just a case and maybe a download code.

That’s odd because digital didn’t really start until the middle of the Xbox 360/PS3 era. Your timeline might be a little off.

Well, Steam launched 21 years ago, so if he’s a PC gamer, he might’ve been buying digital-only since then.

@Indigo
Look at OP not having to sell off games in the 2000s to pay bills :joy:

Thing is, with digital, you don’t truly own the game. You just have a license. If it gets removed, you lose access.

Have you actually lost a game license before? I’ve never had that happen with anything I wanted to play.

This is why I pirate every Steam game after buying it. Just in case. Can’t predict the future.

I’d rather have easy access to my games than keep a physical disc. I don’t even have my old PS1/PS2 games, but I’ve got a PC and emulators to play whatever I want.

@Indigo
Is it a collection if you don’t actually own anything? Physical is still worth it if you want something to hold onto.

Ok.

Wow, that’s a ton of PlayStation games!

PS2 really has an insane number of games.
