Is DayZ actually a good game now or not?

Played about 3500 hours, mostly on Namalsk. If you’re bored with other maps, try it – fights are fast-paced, and gear is easy to replace. New map Sakhal is also fun but more exploration-heavy.

Game’s improved a lot over time, but the aiming still feels weird to me.

You have to hold your breath for steadier aim. Realism thing.

It’s brutal but worth it. Best survival experience you can get if you’re willing to learn.

Surprised by all the hate. It’s one of the best survival games out there.

Just feels like a griefing sim to me. Walk, loot, die… repeat.

Sounds like you just haven’t gotten good at it yet.

It’s in a pretty good place now, especially with mods. Chernarus has even been revamped with new areas and loot spots.

Interacting with randoms in this game makes it for me.

Been playing with a friend recently, but the game loop just isn’t exciting after a while.

Give Namalsk a shot if you want more action.

Forever janky but still the best survival game out there.

Game’s still clunky and empty. Not worth the money.

Try Namalsk for quicker action and better loot.
