@Branley
They might make an exception. I got a 2DS XL for $80 when they were phasing it out during the pandemic.
@Branley
Imagine if they don’t. Classic Nintendo move.
Actually, we know that too. Investors were told it would launch at the same price as the original Switch: $399.99 Canadian.
Anyone else think Nintendo is just messing with us?
Honestly, I don’t care about the price anymore. I just need a replacement for my old Switch, and I’m not buying one now if the new one is coming in two months.
Probably late summer if they announce it this year for the holidays.

The Switch was revealed in January 2017 and launched in March. So they might pull something similar here.
@Gale
Really? I thought it was a longer wait. Maybe my memory’s just bad.

Yeah, they called it the NX in October, then revealed it as the Switch in January. Pre-orders didn’t open until after the event.
@Gale
Nah, the reveal video was October 2016.

So we just wait… again.
@Nevada
What if it’s just Mario Kart 8 again? You know, because 7 8 9.

They’ll just turn the 8 sideways and call it Mario Kart Infinite.

Or Mario Kart Forever. Cue dramatic music.
@Nevada
Of course they’re working on Mario Kart 9. 8 came out, what, 11 years ago?
@Nevada
Can we just get Double Dash 2 already?
@Nevada
Where’s all this info coming from?
