When I am traveling, I can never enter into the game mode. It’s awful, I am not sure if that is a comfort issue or what.
On an airplane, I can get into a game, but it quickly becomes a “plane game” in my opinion. I couldn’t reasonably explain why I don’t want to play it unless I’m 30 feet or less from an airplane after doing this with Wildermyth.
I experience this with any game I play when I am sick with a cold.
For me, it was Genshin Impact. When COVID hit, I got infected and was stuck in my room for an entire month. The only thing I had to keep me entertained was Genshin on my phone. But as soon as I recovered, playing Genshin started to feel like a chore.
I hope you feel better soon, COVID kept me down for a month as well. I couldn’t taste anything and was always sleepy. As for the topic of this post, I have a handheld gaming device (Legion Go), but I just don’t feel like gaming while flying. I prefer watching shows on YouTube or anime,
I hope you soon feel well. Yes, I think that playing video games while traveling somewhat destroys the atmosphere.
How are you expected to have fun when you are not in your cozy, familiar home, especially when it involves a medium that demands continuous interaction?
I totally agree. I also don’t feel comfortable on flights. There is a certain smell that bothers me, and I can’t sleep on planes, so it’s not great, haha. I am feeling much better now, though. I think my longest gaming session on a flight was about an hour with Fallout 4.
I occasionally play games on flights, but they are usually just simple mobile games that don’t require much investment. When I travel, I often bring my VR headset and play some games in the hotel.
It is probably confusing other passengers, making them think the plane is taking off again because of the fans.
Agreed, I was hoping someone would ask how lould the fans are
He can switch that thing into sports mode and you would not even notice the difference, it’s pretty perfect.
