It’s not like RE4 has some deep plot. 2 weeks sounds about right, and I say that as a fan.
Haven’t played the remake yet (need to upgrade my GTX 970), but still amazed he did it all in 2 weeks. RE4 isn’t the deepest, but it does a good job pulling everything together.

Not calling RE4 a masterpiece? Might be the craziest thing I’ve read this year! It was so huge it got a remake that sold like crazy!

A lot of them are; we just tend to hear more from folks like Kojima who love the spotlight.
Funny how creators often critique their own work, while gamers put it on a pedestal. Makes you wonder what some complaints are really about.

People treating RE4’s story as if it’s brilliant is kind of wild. It’s a fun, campy action-horror. Why would it need more than two weeks to write?

Old RE4 was scary and silly at the same time. Great combo.
Demon’s Souls Remake was nearly perfect but they lost that dark tint from the original. I liked the fresh look, but the OG had more charm.
RE3 deserved better treatment. Still annoyed my favorite RE game was treated like that.

They really did it dirty. It’s a fun game by itself, but it didn’t do RE3 justice. Cutting the Clocktower was unforgivable.
