Remembering this good boy

Game: COD Ghosts

Man, I really enjoyed the COD Ghosts campaign. It was such a neat concept and you had the best boy with you. Sad part is it ended on a cliffhanger if I remember correctly. I doubt we will ever see what happened though.

We don’t talk about the multiplayer.

@Rin
This game was fun indeed. Maybe they will reboot the Ghosts series in the future.

Riley.

My favorite part was, >!at the beginning of the stadium level, how he jumps through the breaking windshield of the crashing vehicle and gets a bite out of an enemy soldier.!<

Yeah, makes me wonder why most games don’t incorporate a dog companion.

@Nye
If you get a chance to play an older game called ‘Dead to Rights,’ I think you’d enjoy it.

They’re scared of the furries.

No, they are scared that if the dog dies, it would be heartbreaking.

They’re scared that that would make the furries mad.

If something heartbreaking happens in a game, that just sounds like good storytelling. How could that possibly be a bad thing?

Your spoiler tags aren’t working. I’m pretty sure you need to not leave spaces between the tag and whatever text you’re trying not to spoil.

For example:

>!This doesn’t work.!<

>!But this does.!<

Reminds me of Dogmeat in Fallout 4. What a good boy.

Looks so good wtf. Now for games to look like that, you suddenly need a 4090 recommended specs according to the developers.

True, the developers are giving less preference to optimization nowadays.

@Nye
That’s because they are barely developers. They don’t have any technical knowledge of graphics, rendering, the math involved, etc. They are basically as skilled as any company’s ‘Adobe Expert,’ and would be incapable of working outside whatever engine they primarily work on, much less understanding how the engine works on a technical level.

Riley’s up there with Ethan on my list of best companions.

dogs vs cats war intensifies

Friend of mine is a massive CoD fan, and I’m learning how to make sublimated cups. She said once I’m ready, she’d love to commission a cup with chibis of Task Force 141 on it. As she was showing me the characters there - Ghost, Price, Soap, etc. - I asked about the dog. She said he wasn’t part of that squad. I insisted I’m drawing him anyways.

To hell with canon accuracy, YOU’RE GETTING DOG.

Dat advanced fish AI though. Game-breaking technology right there.
