It was a time when gaming brought us all together.
I heard those dots were just for show and didn’t really reflect the players accurately
Would be nice if games actually did that.

After a while, I noticed they stayed the same. Didn’t matter how many players were online.
@Avi
It was still fun to imagine that, even if just for a bit.

Yeah, nobody’s really playing in that no man’s land between Egypt and Sudan.

It’s interesting how Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town light up the most in South Africa. Seems pretty accurate.
Remember the Halo 3 map and how dark it felt the last time I played? Sad face.

Spartans never really die, they just go missing in action.
Those times were really something special!
It was always fascinating to see where everyone was playing.
Like, most of Australia seemed empty in CoD because it’s just desert. Shows where the big cities are.

Yeah, they were just made up.

Australia doesn’t even exist. It’s all made up and pretend.
Playing online on the PS3, especially zombies, was my favorite. Great memories
This is just my opinion, don’t be mad.
To me, that was one of the best gaming times of my life. Spending the day BMXing and then coming home to hang out online with friends was the best.

It’s probably because we had more free time and less responsibilities back then. I think most gamers can relate to that in their late teens.
Rest in peace.
@Jo
Casual matches with randoms just don’t seem to happen anymore. Now everyone takes everything way too seriously. It used to be a social experience, but now it feels forced.
@Jo
People still socialize, but apps like Discord and party chats have created bubbles where everyone is isolated from each other.
@Jo
I miss clan and community forums. Wish Discord would let you back up or host their stuff yourself.
@Axel
You really hit the nail on the head.
Imagine a multiverse where greed didn’t take over. We could be playing Xbox 1080 and GTA8 by now.
