You can get replacement caps for the sticks online. Easy fix.
People calling this controller dirty are wild. Have y’all seen what a truly nasty controller looks like? A little dust doesn’t make it gross.
An Elite controller could never last 12 years.
My GameCube controller from 2002 still works perfectly. That thing could survive the apocalypse.
I’d say clean it up and see if you can bring it back to life. If not, at least keep the shell as a reminder of all those great gaming sessions.
