My older brother, who’s in his 40s, has shown interest in gaming again after about 20 years. He’s only interested in playing co-op games, but I mostly play PvP shooters, so I am not as familiar with good PvE options. He is not into competitive play at all.
I am looking for suggestions for co-op PvE games on PlayStation that we can play online since we live in different states. I’ve thought of Helldivers 2 and some of the CoD campaigns, but I’m trying to come up with more options.
I also remembered Ghost Recon: Breakpoint/Wildlands, which he’d likely enjoy.
I second this! My brother and I tackled the Fisher missions while underleveled, and after many hours, it was such a fun challenge with great co-op gameplay.
I would like to add that if they aren’t feeling burnt out after finishing the massive challenge that is Wildlands, Breakpoint is also a solid game these days. The stealth system has improved compared to Wildlands, and you have the option to completely disable the gear level system if you prefer. While I still think Wildlands is the better overall game, Breakpoint offers the best stealth mechanics in any Ubisoft title since Blacklist, so it might be worth a try.
Did they add our NPC companions from Wildlands again? According to what I have read, you are alone yourself in Breakpoint and lose interest right away.
