For context: I’m emulating the PS2 version on my Samsung S23 using NetherSX2. Playing with a PS5 DualSense controller clipped to the phone. It’s like having a portable PS2.
I’m doing something similar! Revisiting old games I missed out on as a kid. What’s the 30s thing about, though? I’m 35, and I game like I always have.
@Amory
It’s more about finally progressing in games I never finished as a kid. My last console was a Sega Genesis, so the PS2 games are completely new to me. I’m also playing Spider-Man and Gran Turismo—games I could only dream about back then.
Now I’m tempted to download it again. How well does it run on your phone?

Runs great with PS2 emulation. I’m using NetherSX2, and with the controller setup, it’s almost like playing on the original console.
I played it on PC recently, and it was kind of frustrating. Outdated mechanics and AI made it tough. Still, for a game from 2000, it’s pretty groundbreaking.

Really? Did it age that badly? I remember loving this game!

It’s not hard in a fun way. It’s hard because the mechanics are so old-school that they work against you.
Finally beating it after all these years must feel amazing. Congrats!
Wait… you mean this game has actual progression and isn’t just about rampages? Mind blown.
I didn’t know you could play games like this on a phone. Are you using an emulator?

Yes, I’m using NetherSX2 for PS2 emulation. Works perfectly with a Bluetooth controller.
The nostalgia hit is real. This takes me back.
