Chill farming games without pressure?

I enjoy Stardew Valley but feel like there’s too much pressure with the changing seasons. I’ve played Slime Rancher too, are there any other relaxing farming games I might be missing?

Have you tried Farming Simulator?

Valheim with a few farming mods can be pretty chill. You can turn off mob aggression and the raid mechanic if I remember correctly.

Dinkum is a good option. It’s an Australian-themed Animal Crossing-like game with farming and light combat. You can use a trailer, and while it has seasons, there aren’t any deadlines to worry about.

You could try My Time at Portia. It’s a fun, relaxing game with some farming elements.

Planet Crafter is nice and calming. The only time it gets intense is when you run out of air or get hit by a meteor storm!

Graveyard Keeper is a good pick. It’s farming-lite with no season restrictions. You don’t even have to sleep if you have enough food, and you can automate tasks with zombies. Time only matters when someone is supposed to be at their post or when bodies are rotting before burial.

Wylde Flowers lets you control the seasons, and you can even change the length of the days. There’s no pressure to keep up with the seasons.

Farm Together is another great one. There’s no time pressure, and crops don’t die if you take a while to harvest them. No relationship or romance aspects, so it’s really low stress.

It’s pretty much just an enormous mobile game timer though…

Farm Together is my go-to after a long, stressful week. There’s no pressure, and even though it has timer mechanics, I never have to wait to do anything. I’ve never spent any extra money beyond the base game.

Harvest Moon is a classic. You could try that if you haven’t already.

That’s exactly what I came to suggest. The original on N64 was so much fun!

The original on N64 SNES was so fun

Rusty’s Retirement is different. It’s designed to only take up the bottom part of your screen, so you can play it idly while doing other things on your computer.

Graveyard Keeper is a good one. It’s like Stardew Valley, but you’re a graveyard keeper. Also, Webfishing could be worth checking out, even though it’s not strictly a farming game.

Moonlighter isn’t a farming game, but you gather materials from dungeons and sell them in your shop during the day. The game gets easier after you upgrade your gear and shop.

Have you tried Baldur’s Gate 3? It’s not a farming game, but it’s a great chill experience.

Garden Galaxy isn’t a farming game, but it’s perfect if you love decorating. Disney Dreamlight Valley is another option, though it has some FOMO and microtransactions. Fields of Mistria is a farming game that might be worth a try, though the days might feel a bit pressured like Stardew Valley.

Viva Pinata is a fun one too, though it’s not exactly farming.
