I’ve always thought StarCraft 1 and 2 were the best RTS games ever made when they came out. I know some might argue other games have better features, but who else is still playing StarCraft in 2025?
StarCraft 2 co-op all the way! I’ve been playing co-op since 2016, campaign since 2011, and StarCraft 1 since 2000. I even run a small YouTube channel with daily co-op uploads!

Co-op is great, but I stopped after maxing out the free commanders.
@Sage
I hit level 90 in 2016 and maxed all prestiges across four servers. It’s hard to find another game that scratches that advanced strategy itch like SC2 co-op does.

It was fun doing brutal mutations with you back in the day. I don’t play anymore, but I still watch your videos sometimes. You’re a legend in the co-op community.
I actually got paid to write some SC2 stories. Not sure if they ever got used.

That’s awesome! Did any of your stories make it into the game?

Not that I know of. I wrote a story about three Protoss warriors going on one last mission for glory, but it overlapped with other planned content. I think parts of it got folded into Fenix’s story.
I play co-op with a friend once or twice a month. Nothing beats the classic RTS vibe of SC1 and 2.
I stopped playing after Blizzard changed their 2FA system and I lost access to my account. Is it worth figuring out how to recover it now?

Totally! The campaigns are complete now, and the co-op mode is still fun.
I maxed out all the co-op commanders a while back, but I’ve started playing again to help my son level his commanders. It’s been fun bonding over the game.

That’s awesome! Always great to bring in new players to co-op.
Man, I used to follow the OSL, MSL, and GSL tournaments religiously.
The SC2 story was disappointing compared to SC1, but the gameplay was amazing.
Played from 2016–2018 and got to Master with Zerg. It was a great learning experience, but keeping up with the meta was exhausting.
I still play, mostly custom campaign mods. The ‘Wings of Mengsk’ revamp is fantastic.
StarCraft Remastered is fantastic. SC2 has a great engine, but I think it’s lost its charm over time.
I haven’t played in years, but I wish Blizzard would revisit the StarCraft series. RTS games like SC and Command & Conquer were my childhood.
Nothing beats the rush of SC2. Played other RTS games recently, but I always come back to StarCraft.
