Some games push your PC to the absolute limit. Sometimes it’s fun… sometimes it’s a straight-up stress test for your hardware.
What’s the worst offender you’ve played?

Noita’s final boss is actually your PC specs.

Terrible at the game, but I keep coming back. Can’t stop, won’t stop.

It’s kinda amazing how fun the first 10% of the game is, even if you never get past that.

Now that you mention it, I should give it another shot.

I’ve done just about everything, but the core gameplay loop is so satisfying I keep coming back.

This is the real fourth-wall break. Forget Doki Doki Literature Club or Undertale—Noita will literally make your fans scream and your motherboard beg for mercy.

Every pixel is simulated. Absolutely love Noita! The wand-building system is somehow both simple and crazy deep.

I feel like I should love Noita… I like everything about it in theory… but I can never get into it.
Maybe I just haven’t played enough. I bought it alongside Celeste and FTL, and those sucked up all my attention.
Path of Exile 2—my favorite radiator simulator.
@Ev
Totally get it. It was choppy at first for me too, especially in crowded areas, but once I enabled Nvidia upscaling, it was way better. \o/
@Ev
PoE2 is brutal on CPUs. I’m really enjoying it, but I can already see the writing on the wall… once my FPS drops below 20, I’m out.
@Ev
I should have refunded it too. The gameplay feels way too outdated for me.

I really thought PoE2 would fix PoE1’s performance issues since they were building it from the ground up. Big mistake.

Oh, I knew this was about PoE. The only game where the better your build, the worse your FPS gets.

Try Fireball + Unleash + Scattershot + Summon Raging Spirit. You will regret it.

Gotta keep that GPU nice and toasty! Nothing like turning your PC into a space heater while chasing loot.
It blows my mind how many devs seem to put optimization last on the priority list. I’d rather have a smooth experience on lower settings than a slideshow at max.
