Just like the title says, what’s a hidden gem story game?
Killer Frequency is such a fun little game. It’s set in a radio station where you’re trying to stop a serial killer. Highly recommend it.

This game deserved way more attention. The style is great, and messing with all the radio equipment is so much fun. The soundtrack slaps too, especially the credits song. Link to it here.
@Zane
Totally agree. It’s the perfect mix of cozy vibes and nail-biting tension.

I finally played it when it was on PS+. It was such a blast and had just the right level of spooky.
Lost Odyssey deserves so much more love. The dream sequences alone make it worth playing.

You reminded me of another one—Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

Same! It’s probably one of my all-time favorite games.

That’s the one I was going to mention! It’s such a beautiful retelling of Journey to the West, and the ending still sticks with me.

I found out about Enslaved on a show called The Blurb. They really hyped it up, and for good reason. I got it in a Humble Bundle years ago and have replayed it multiple times. The storytelling is just so good.

I’m so happy someone brought up Lost Odyssey! The dreams are some of the best writing I’ve ever seen in a game. I still have my Xbox 360 copy, but I wish they’d release it on Steam.
The Dig. It’s a classic point-and-click adventure with such a unique vibe.

Some of the puzzles in that game had me stumped. I remember one involving bat guano?

Yes! Ugh, guano… right in the eye. Classic moment.

That was my first real RPG. I never wanted it to end.

Great pick! It’s such a standout.
Ghost Trick is so underrated. It has an amazing story and cool gameplay.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It’s part visual novel, part tower defense, and the story is absolutely insane in the best way. So many twists and turns.
The Saboteur. It’s such a stylish game, but it’s hard to play on modern systems since it doesn’t like CPUs with more than four cores.
