Does anyone know where I can get this game to play without using an emulator?

It is difficult to find Transformers: War for Cybertron these days, despite it being a fantastic game. I have heard that some dubious websites offer the original Steam files, but doing so carries some danger. The best course of action is to see if any reputable retailers carry it.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is a great game. I would recommend buying it several time.

Activision let the license arrangement with Hasbro to expire, so the answer is no. Finding a grey market digital key or purchasing a used physical copy are the only ways to legally acquire the Transformers video games. Since I owned the PC until I misplaced the CD key at some point in 2011, I am aware that it was released physically. Activision’s automated phone line includes a special feature for seeking a new CD key, and it plays a message explaining that it is corporate policy not to provide replacement CD keys. Or simply obtain a cracked copy through piracy. It should be mentioned that the physical copy for the PC was a standard installer and key that was unrelated to Steam or any other platform.

For years, Fall of Cybertron was available as a digital download on Xbox One, however, similar to Devastation and the 360 games, it has been inactive since the license expired.

The Cybertron games were decent, but my favorite Transformers gaming experience has to be the PS2 game from 2004. It was absolutely fantastic.

The original you mention is with me. All I want to play in Cybertron is the cooperative campaign,

If you are referring to the one based on Armada, that is an outstanding game that originally had a subtitle before its release. I can’t recall the exact phrasing, but it was marketed under that subtitle in some of the comic books that came with the toys.

Yes, I believe so. the one where you had to gather the mini cons on the enormous open maps. I remember it being really tough as well as a lot of fun.

Microsoft mentioned plans to make them backwards compatible on Xbox or to include them on Game Pass after acquiring Activision.

The good news is that they’re relisted on Xbox. However, I’m unable to purchase them.
