In a game filled with murder, torture, and slavery, it is interesting that the worst thing you can do is be unkind to a dog.
Animal abuse seems personal, even in games.
As for me, I promptly and enthusiastically smote every single slaver and torturer that I came across.
There is nothing quite like tossing the Duergar into the water during the boat sequence. That guy didn’t even deserve the respect of a real fight.
I only don’t do it because I want to steal his belongings. In my opinion, he is not a rival deserving of respect; rather, he is a walking bag of cash and merchandise. plus a couple bonus experience points.
A duergar was pushed into some lava. It took 5 minutes or so to figure out how to take his stuff.
Simply obtain a Hill Giant Strength potion from the Myconid colony and abduct the Duegar to return to the Underdark’s beach. Get rid of them, steal from them, and then arrange their corpses to form a message on Nere’s door, or do anything else imaginative you can think of.
Quite a bit of effort for someone you are going to kill anyway.
A close second is those two tiny githyanki cunts that are torturing the gremishka in Creche Yllek.
Fun fact, when in battle, you can grab that chest and throw it at magic users. The gremishka has a magic allergy, hence casting magic will cause various hijinx.
In the Githyanki Inquisitor battle, I threw it a mage. The gremishka’s allergy was triggered by the mage’s spell, and it gained Mirror Image and Haste before aiding in the removal of a few gith. Pure chaos.
What a jerk that gremishka is. When I let it go, it almost destroyed my party with sporadic magical explosions.
