Sega & Turbografx Collections…Anyone Else Into These?

I don’t have a huge Sega collection, but the games I do have are some of my absolute favorites! I’m really into shoot 'em ups, and I think the Turbo, Genesis, and Saturn have some of the best. I don’t usually show off my shelf of games, but thought I’d share this time.

You should check out Ground Zero Texas, I think it was a Sega CD game. It’s an awesome shooter!

We spent hours on that game, but I don’t think we ever finished it!

That’s so cool :hushed:

Thumbs up for Shining Force III!

An in-box Soldier Blade? - Wow, you must be rich!

Well, hey there! :sunglasses: It’s one of my favorites and has some of the best cover art in my collection.

Totally, I love that game! Have you seen bithead1000’s Soldier Blade jacket? That art is amazing. The Soldier series has a lot of fans.

@Hollis
Wow! That’s awesome! I love how he’s blasting the music in the background. The soundtrack really gets me pumped. I’m such a huge fan of the Soldier series. Hudson Soft shooters are up there with the Aleste series for me. I always thought the green robot was your homie from the game, not an enemy, but I guess it’s up for debate. That cover art is just perfect—don’t hear people talk about it enough like this, I feel like I’m the only one who gets it! :sweat_smile:

@Mika
Yeah, the Turbo didn’t have the same popularity as the Genesis or SNES, but it definitely has its loyal fans. A few of us are still out here keeping the flame alive!

For sure. I used to hang around on the PC Engine FX forum a lot. I even held the high score for Soldier Blade there. I found a little boss exploit to rack up points…guess I kind of cheated, haha :smirk:

Some of the best classic consoles right here. Sega and the PC Engine are like no other for classic action games.

Looks so neat.

Wow, I hope TMB has a collection like this. Congratulations!

Blazing Lazers is still one of my all-time favorites.
