After finishing Inside, I was looking for something that would hit the same notes, and Planet of Lana did not disappoint! The music is hauntingly beautiful, maybe the best I’ve heard in a game. The visuals are stunning, and I got so connected with Lana and her little companion. It’s short, only about 5-6 hours, but worth every moment. Great puzzles and scenery – highly recommend if you’re into these kinds of games! If not, it’s on Game Pass, so please give it a go.
With a name like Lana, it had to be good.

Just don’t look at the name backward…
Any other games that feel similar to this one?

Gris, Neva, Hue (more puzzle-focused), and of course Limbo.

Adding a few more:
- Inside
- Planet Alpha
- Somerville
For a similar vibe, check out Far: Lone Sails and Far: Changing Tides too.
@Ash
Some of these are on my wishlist already – thanks for the recs!

Forgot how great Hue is. Such an underrated game.

It’s a little more involved than Limbo or Inside but in the same spirit.
This game deserves way more love!
The art is breathtaking, but the gameplay’s a bit light. It doesn’t have much depth compared to Limbo or Inside.

I get that! For me, it was just nice to play something calming after heavier games like Elden Ring and Starfield – this was my ‘palette cleanser.’
The trailer music has a real hook. That’s rare! Most games just have random strings. Definitely going to check this out.
What’s the story like? I need something to pull me back into gaming.

The main character is on a quest to find her sister, who’s been taken. As you go, you uncover mysteries that reveal a lot about the world. Definitely play with headphones on – the music is amazing!
@Jordy
And the art is just as gorgeous!
@Jordy
Sounds similar to Evan’s Remains, another underrated gem with puzzles and a great story.
@Jordy
So it’s basically like Limbo?
