Picked up a PS3 recently… just to play this game and some Ratchet games. So hyped, ready to relive my childhood!

I finally got myself a PS3, mainly to revisit some old games like this one and the Ratchet series. I’m so excited to relive these classics, it feels like going back to my childhood!

I get why they skipped 2, since 3 is way better and 1 is just the original.

The second game’s campaign was unique though, it really deserved to be included. It’s such a shame.

@Jules
I agree, DragonBall Party was a blast! It really improved on the first game’s story mode. But honestly, B3’s campaign was so good, it almost makes everyone forget about the second one.

Yeah, 3 was mostly for the players who wanted to battle it out with all the latest characters.

@Ari
IMO, 3 was the best! It had an amazing open-world campaign and the biggest roster. The Tenkaichi games were great for playing as obscure characters, but the rest didn’t hold up as well.

Exactly, spot on!

Sparking Zero really brings that feeling back. Too bad it didn’t have much of a campaign though.

@Jules
Honestly, the only thing good about 2 was the campaign.

PS3 being childhood? Man, I feel old now.

I was there, Gandalf. I remember when you had to blow on the cartridge just to get it to work.

Haha, same… I totally get that.

@Amari
The funny part is, we all knew not to blow on it. We were told not to. But it worked anyway, so we kept doing it. Lmao.

If you’re into classics, definitely play the original Metal Gear Solid, then MGS2, MGS3, and finish it with MGS4. That’s why I bought a PS3 after the PS4 came out. Don’t bother with MGS5 though, it’s not worth it.

Man, you’re playing the best of the best.

This version doesn’t have the plagiarized music, which is good, but it’s a shame we don’t get the original tracks like Iron Man, September, and Hunting High and Low.

Wonder if this is a copy with the original music before they had to replace it due to the composer’s issues. I’m not sure if they reprinted the game or just updated digital versions.

Omg, I loved this game so much! It gave me blisters on my thumbs.

It’s still fun, but it’s not the same without the original soundtrack.

Budokai 3 is hands down my favorite game of all time. Played the hell out of it on PS2 when I was a kid, and it still holds up.
