Lost Planet Reboot?

Capcom has been doing incredibly well lately and appears eager to get back into previous brands. Given Helldivers’ popularity, now would seem like a good time to play Lost Planet again. Instead of remaking the original game, start with E.D.N. III and, if possible, start with Lost Planet 2. When Monster Hunter Wilds comes out in February, it might also profit from any insights Capcom learns from battling enormous monsters in the coop.

Absolutely! I have been longing for some Lost Planet multiplayer for a while now, and even a co-op campaign would be fantastic. The world was always so intriguing, and the aesthetic was really cool.

Indeed, it felt really special, and there are a ton of ways they might develop the IP now.

I completely agree, I probably review LP 1 and 2’s campaigns every six months and am reminded of how fantastic they were.

Then recall that 3 was total garbage. I mean, how difficult is it to maintain the ‘people jump inside gigantic combat robots and shoot each other’ formula without making it unfunny? What this game truly needs is less fancy robots and more generic multiplayer.

I completely concur. To be honest, my GOAT would be Lost Planet 2 with the Akrid Hunter game mode and the updated QOL improvements. Capcom has to stop disregarding this fantastic IP because it has a lot of promise.

Really, I can’t forget the train mission in the desert with the cannon and how hurried it was to load and discharge the rounds with pals! With the IP, they could accomplish so much.

Oh my gosh, I totally forgot about Lost Planet until you brought it up,

Considering how poorly the Resident Evil multiplayer content was received, I doubt they’ll pursue a multiplayer spin-off for a franchise they view as weaker.

That is because they are approaching it the wrong way. Many people would be interested in buying and playing RE Outbreak.

You are probably right that individuals are willing to purchase and play, but a business won’t see it, and only she will cause what they thought would be a success to collapse.
