Hello everyone, I played for about three hours in BFA before quitting WoW after Legion.
If the most recent expansion is worthwhile, I would like to know. In comparison to previous expansions, how is the overall experience, storyline, and gameplay?
Are gamers that come back welcome, or would I be lost? Thank you for any suggestions from others who have already tried it.
You saw a Blizzard cinematic and hope the game will rekindle that nostalgia. Maybe things have improved, and you might make new friends and have new adventures.
You won’t. I have been away from WoW for 3 years after playing for 17, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The game, now and forever, will remain the same flawed experience from a company focused on creating a product designed to keep players hooked, no matter the cost.
If you have any respect for yourself, don’t resubscribe.
Completely concur. Blizzard turned an enjoyable game into a money-making machine. You have been subtracted for an additional month and are still chasing gear rolls due to the daily grind, grinding dungeons and raids, questing, and rep chasing, in addition to other ancillary activities. Angered me so much that I gave up and never looked back. I did enjoy a few good times, but eventually I understood the true nature of it all and concluded that as a community-minded player, I was worthless. I stopped after 12 years after BfA.
