What’s going on with this game?
I saw something on a forum about this. Apparently, the full ray tracing (or path tracing) won’t be ready for early access. Seems like there’s a driver issue or something. The game will still have basic ray tracing, just not the full version. Wish they’d just called it path tracing to avoid confusion.

Ray tracing is a big setting, and path tracing is just one part of it. It’s also the most demanding feature.

Pretty much. Most people with average setups are going to struggle to hit decent frame rates, even with upscaling. It’s cheaper for them to push it out now than spend more time optimizing. Reviewers won’t complain since they’re all on high-end rigs anyway.

A 3060 can handle it at low settings in 1080p without upscaling. Maybe even 1440p with DLSS Quality.

System requirements actually show native resolution targets, and it’s not as bad as people think. Some cards are managing over 60fps at 4K with max settings.

Even an RTX 2060 can get 1080p at 60fps on low. That’s not too bad.

Bet a lot of people will still call it unoptimized though.

It might be decent, but I doubt Indiana Jones has enough hype for a hit game.
