Hello everyone,
Are there any single-player games that resemble Space Marine 2 in terms of their expansive environments and warfare scenarios? You even take your time walking in order to fully enjoy the immersion and sights.
The oldest Call of Duty campaigns come to mind the closest.

This series is perfect if you have ever wanted to take first-person control of a medieval siege. I recently acquired Bannerlord, and Iām loving it.
When you get tired of the same old game, they throw Realm of Thrones away. It is a fantastic revamp.
Is it like the game of thrones conversion for Warband?
I got really into Warband about six months ago, playing a fantasy mod. I loved positioning a wall of crossbowmen and mages on a hill to unleash havoc on the enemy, although the sieges were quite a grind.
Bannerlord is fantastic for this while I loved Warband, its sieges were a bit over the top. In Bannerlord, the sieges are enjoyable and cinematic.
Try playing World War Z. I believe the hordes in Space Marine 2 are controlled by the same method.
Are you referring to Aftermath or the first game? I have only played Aftermath, and I thought it was fantastic. The large-scale hordes were awesome, and setting up defensive positions was a lot of fun, it reminded me of Left 4 Dead in some ways.
Aftermath was an update for WWZ which included all the GOTY stuff and some new maps
Does the game follow the book more closely than the film did?
