I don’t think MadCatz is around anymore
They still exist. Not sure about controllers, but I read that some of their flightsticks and arcade sticks were actually really good back in the day

I have memories with those controllers. We had two that were dedicated to slots 3 and 4 on our Xbox. I always used 4 when we played Halo multiplayer.
Sometimes, I’d look down and the controller would throw a grenade by accident. My brother and his friends would get pretty mad, especially when we did melee-only matches and grenades kept going off.
The third controller’s right trigger would get stuck, so I had to use it carefully. You’d need something like a butter knife nearby to loosen it when it got stuck.
I was obsessed with SimCity 2000 when it came out.

I loved it too when I was younger, but I didn’t actually play it all that much. I spent hours just causing disasters and watching the city fall apart. Good times!

The D2 LOD years were definitely the peak of my gaming days and I didn’t even realize it at the time.

The games were with the CDs and DVDs, and the controller was just sitting on a shelf in the electronics section.
SimCity 2000 was one of the first games I ever played. Seeing this now really brings back memories.
MadCatz controllers were the worst, especially when you had siblings. They got the factory controller, and you got the flimsy MadCatz one.
MadCatz?! I’d throw that thing straight into the fire!
I bet that big original Xbox controller would feel nice now. My hands have grown a lot since I was a kid.
