Found an old copy of Rise of the Triad… anyone else remember this?

Cleaning out my parents’ house and found this. Haven’t seen it in years! I played it a ton back in the 90s, and it was such a blast. Instant nostalgia hit.

Crazy that their website is still up and looks exactly like it did back then. Feels like stepping into a time machine.

Haha, too bad the visitor counter is busted. Classic old-school internet vibes.

I remember the insane power-ups and how fast-paced the game was. So much fun!

@Adrian
Like the one that turned you into a dog? That was wild!

Dog mode was pure chaos.

That howl that made enemies explode? Good times.

It looks like something I made in middle school using Notepad and Netscape. I bet someone is keeping that website running on a dusty old PC in their basement.

They even sold ‘internet secrets’ back in the day lol.

A true relic of the internet… all it’s missing is a ‘Sign My Guestbook’ link!

@Luca
And one of those classic ‘Under Construction’ GIFs:

Frames-based layout… haven’t seen that since Internet Explorer 5.

Copyright at the bottom says 1996-2000, so it was last updated in 2000.

I saw some pages that say 2003.

@Adler
That ancient Amazon widget still being there is hilarious.
