What if I told you this chain features a full-service restaurant?

How would I tell you that I was employed at that restaurant?

As I remember, Zeller’s was essentially Canada’s version of K-Mart. When we had a K-Mart in the past, I recall it being comparable to the inside restaurant. wish I had visited the Zellers restaurant, I never did.

We had K-Mart in Canada as well.

To paraphrase, assume Ontario and add 15% sales tax to those prices. Dropping this $ at Kmart or Sears in the US would have felt the same, but Canadian salaries aren’t higher to make up for the FX differential.

Consider shelling out $115 for Mace or $104 for Clay Fighter. Mom was not paying these rates on the spur of the moment, which is why we spent six months playing the same game between Christmas and birthdays.

When Street Fighter 2 for SNES/Genesis was released, I believe it cost $125 CAD at Toys R Us. Just memories, no flyer or evidence to support that.

Yep, Chrono Trigger set me back $120.

I recall paying $80 US at Kay B Toys for Mortal Kombat. I have no idea what CAD that was. It cost roughly $85 including tax.
