I’m almost sure it was Rise of Incarnates, thanks to everyone who suggested it and helped me out.
I know there’s this forum for finding old games, but I tried posting there twice and didn’t get any help. So I’m trying here.
The game I remember had a lot of red in the UI, it was on PC, and it was third-person. The gameplay reminded me of Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Phantom Dust, and maybe Anarchy Reigns. I recall a map that looked like the White House or had a similar building in a grassy area. The graphics were similar to Anarchy Reigns (yes, I’ve mentioned it again, but I know it’s not that). I think the game shut down in the early 2010s, or at least I remember it shutting down.
Sorry if the details are vague. I was really young when I played it, but I really want to figure out what the game was and would be super happy if I finally find it!
I loved that game! I remember getting my first ‘gamer’ keyboard and mouse just to get lower latency for moves like the triple butterfly. It was so weird how you could be locked in animations while dealing crazy damage. And climbing walls with your sword was pretty awesome.
Such a strange game, especially with all the glitches!

Could it be S4 League or APB: All Points Bulletin?
S4 League was one of the most broken pay-to-win games I’ve played. Full of tryhards who would hang out in low-level lobbies to make themselves feel better. And don’t even get me started on the cheaters.
Could it be Age of Heroes Online or Rise of Incarnates? Both were third-person arena combat games with red-heavy UIs that shut down in the early 2010s.
MicroVolts could be another possibility. It had a distinct third-person shooter feel, with arena-style combat, but it was more like an action MOBA.
@Lin
I think you’re right! After looking up Rise of Incarnates, it seems to match. I just need to check out the Washington D.C. stage since that’s the only one I remember. Thanks so much!
I couldn’t find the game you described. The only thing I could think of was checking a game UI database for various shades of red, since you mentioned it was such a distinct feature. You might want to give this a try and see if anything pops up that looks familiar. https://www.gameuidatabase.com/
