The 2-hour trial isn’t showing up in the trials section yet. You’ll need to go to the game’s store page to find it (requires PS Premium).
Why do you need PS Premium just to try a demo? That’s crazy.

Sony is really shooting themselves in the foot. They’re losing potential sales with these dumb restrictions.

Still can’t believe they copied Xbox’s paid online nonsense.
People defending this stuff saying they need the money just blows my mind.
Remember when Sony made fun of Xbox’s DRM stuff? Now look at them.
And don’t even get me started on backwards compatibility… Xbox does that way better.
Meanwhile, Xbox is out here trying to run on everything while PS is stuck with just the Portal.
@Page
Man, I remember getting a PS3 back then just to avoid Xbox’s paid online garbage. I loved being able to game online without an extra fee since I already paid my ISP.
Now even Nintendo is doing the same thing with their useless subscription. None of these companies provide any real online services; they just block you from the internet you’re already paying for.
@Eli
That’s why I switched to PC right after the PS3.
@Eli
Xbox 360 was ahead of PS3 when it came to online features. Party chat was amazing, and they had fun stuff like 1v100.
But yeah, Sony had that whole hacking scandal too, which didn’t help.

Nah, Xbox wasn’t ahead. They didn’t host any online services. Halo was running on Bungie’s servers, not Xbox’s. Same thing now—just a paywall.
People need to stop defending this. It’s all a ripoff, plain and simple.
@Eli
You’re wrong but so confident about it! True American vibes there.

Making a trial only available to Premium users makes zero sense. Isn’t the point of a demo to get more people to buy the game? I’m not paying for Premium just to test games I might like. Great job, Sony.
@Parker
But think about it—17% of players means 8 million Premium subscribers. Even if half of them buy the game, that’s $280 million. It’s like how expensive concerts target older fans with money to spend. Sony’s doing the same thing.
@Zan
Yeah, but imagine if 100% of players could try it instead of just 17%. They’d make way more money that way.

Exactly this. It’s a real shame.

It’s supposed to be a free trial, but then I see the Premium symbol, and I’m out.

Trials should be for everyone, not just Premium users. Don’t they want more people to buy games? The more people try, the more people buy.

Most people who bought it think it’s great. Critics agree too.
