Anyone know games like Vampyr?

I love the whole atmosphere of Vampyr—story, characters, combat, choices, all of it! Can anyone recommend games with a similar vibe? I’ve played Bloodborne, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, and Thymesia so far. Appreciate any suggestions!

Check out The Thaumaturge—it might be your style.

I’ve been keeping tabs on that one! Looks promising.

There aren’t enough good vampire games out there, seriously.

Totally agree!

My friends and I love V Rising, though it’s a bit different from Vampyr.

I’d try it but it’s not available on anything I own right now.

They’re remastering Soul Reaver 1 & 2!

Yeah, it’s happening!

Not vampire-themed, but LA Noire has a similar detective-style gameplay if you’re into that.

Banishers has a similar choice mechanic and might be in the same universe. Worth checking out.

Sounds interesting! I’ll definitely look into it.

If you liked the detective feel of Vampyr’s Victorian setting, I’d suggest The Sinking City. It’s got a Lovecraftian vibe with detective work and choices, though no vampires. Similar atmosphere though!

@Reagan
I second The Sinking City! Both games are fantastic.

@Reagan
I actually finished The Sinking City and wasn’t happy with it. The choices didn’t really matter in the end—it felt like a waste of time after all the buildup.

I haven’t played Vampyr, but videos of it remind me of Dishonored for some reason.

Yeah, I can see that. I’ve played all the Dishonored games!

I’ve played both and would say that’s a fair comparison.

I really wish the industry made more games like Vampyr. I loved how your choices affected gameplay and story. It made the game feel personal and immersive. Now I kinda want to replay it lol.
