Any games like Oregon Trail but more detailed?

Yukon Trail might interest you.

It’s a good suggestion, but it can be tricky to run on newer computers.

Not too tricky! I reinstalled it recently and had no issues.

Wait, it’s been over 50 years since Oregon Trail came out, and no one’s made a modern version with better mechanics? That’s wild. Indie devs need to jump on this idea already.

Curious Expedition could be what you’re looking for.

Organ Trail is a zombie-themed version of Oregon Trail.

You might like Wild West Wagon Quest.

There are newer versions of Oregon Trail out there. If you’re looking for something different, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure is worth a try. It’s quirky but fun.

I just got the Steam version. It’s fun but feels limited. I’d love to see more options like robbing people or making deals.

What do you mean by ‘more in depth’? A lot of the gameplay is pretty simple already, so adding too much might change what makes it unique.

I just want more choices. Like, instead of just helping or ignoring someone, I’d like to trade or negotiate with them. For the price, it feels too basic.

In that case, you might enjoy Red Dead Redemption 2. It opens up a lot as you go. Or maybe try Stardew Valley if you want a chill resource-management game.

Dwarf Fortress might be worth a shot.

Dwarf Fortress could be interesting for you.

Check out Dustland Delivery.

I played a demo for ‘Just Drive.’ It might fit what you’re looking for.

Cult of the Lamb is another idea.

Maybe Lemonade Stand?

Crusader Kings could be a fun option. It’s less about settlers and more about running a kingdom, though.

Death Road to Canada has a similar feel to Oregon Trail but with zombies.

80 Days is a fun one. You make decisions to help your character travel around the world in 80 days or less.
