And the award for absolute worst game I've beaten goes to… Castlevania The Adventure

Duke Nukem: Forever… 14 years of development, and totally not worth the wait. I lost faith in Duke.

Castlevania is one of my favorite series, so now I kinda want to try this…

Edit: Gave up on level 1. Bats kept knocking me off narrow platforms. Nope!

It’s an okay game at best, definitely classic. But trudging through Dracula’s castle felt like my character was mumbling, ‘Why am I doing this on a Sunday? Could be at the lake…’

Great soundtrack, though.

What do you mean? It’s clear, direct… okay, maybe not groundbreaking, but it’s not the worst ending I’ve seen!

It might be the worst Castlevania, but as a Game Boy game, it’s not that bad. I grew up with the Game Boy and played some real trash.

For me, the worst games I’ve ever played were Superman 64, Deadly Towers, Batman Forever, and Dragon Age Vailguard. Castlevania The Adventure? I’d gladly play it over those.

And no, I don’t hate The Last of Us II for the usual reasons. The story just took a turn I didn’t like, and the game loop bored me. I wanted more Joel.
